A former member of The Squirrel Nut Zippers, Chris joined the band in time for the tour dates in late 2001.

He continued to play with the band in Europe and the US until 2002 when Travis returned to the chair.

Chris will be fondly remembered for the chicken suit he wore on-stage, refusing to remove it even when it interfered with his playing!!!
