After it was found that stand in drummer Marc Aber wasn't working out, Travis followed his freinds Rick and Dave in joining the band in the summer of 1995.

Travis remained a firm fixture with the band for many years, although he did have a brief time away from the band in 2001 when he was unable to commit to touring Europe and was replaced by Chris Phillips.

He returned in time to join the band again for their return trip to Japan in 2002. And there he remained up until 2003 when he was replaced by Tiny.

Travis made a welcome return to the band again in 2006.
